Global G.L.O.W. Hosts Free Summer Art Camp for Girls at Chin’s Push in Highland Park
For the first time this summer, Global G.L.O.W. expanded its summer art camps to Los Angeles. The camp was held at Chins’s Push, a contemporary art gallery in Highland Park that features emerging artists from all over the world. During the camp, girls learned art skills such as marbling, cyanotype and silkscreen. They experimented with different materials, including paper, fabric, and clothing, and spent time drawing, writing, and in discussion groups about art and their hopes and dreams for the future. Local chefs provided free dinner and the camps culminated with an art show for friends and family.
