As The Healthy Glow Program Manager, Grace leads the growth, reporting and development of Healthy Glow in Kenya. She is a direct supervisor to the Healthy Glow staff assigned to the program in Kenya, and the voice of the Healthy Glow Community in Kenya.
Grace holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Nairobi and a diploma in project management. She is currently pursuing masters in Health systems Management,
Prior to working with Global GLOW Grace has worked in various organizations and has experience in nursing, peer education on sexual and reproductive health, client management, counselling, mentoring and pharmaceuticals.
Working with women and girls is her passion. Her array of invaluable experience and dedication to the health education of women and girls will inform the implementation and success of Healthy Glow in Kenya.
Seeing the life of a disadvantaged girl improved drives her. She strongly believes one girl empowered is equivalent to a community equipped.
Grace has many sheroes in many places but one that stands out is her mum who was very dedicated to see her daughters empowered even though she was not formally educated. Mum knows the value of empowering girls.
When she is not working Grace enjoys writing songs, singing, acting, making short skits/drama and poetry. She also enjoys nature walks.
