Jennifer’s favorite part of her role as the Program Director is connecting with and mentoring women and girls from around the world to create meaningful, sustainable community change.
Jennifer holds a BA in Psychology from Amherst College and an MSc in International Education from Oxford University, where she wrote her dissertation on the monitoring and evaluation of social emotional learning programs in developing countries. Before becoming the Global G.L.O.W. Program Director, Jennifer worked with NY-based literacy nonprofit LitWorld for many years. Her vast background in program design and implementation ensures that the HerStory Campaign is making a long-term investment in girls and providing programming that responds to their needs and supports them in becoming community leaders and changemakers.
Isabel Allende, a Chilean-American author whose novels tell the stories of strong, dynamic women, is one of Jennifer’s sheroes. When not mentoring girls and traveling the world to visit HerStory partners, Jennifer enjoys hiking, yoga, trying new delicious food, learning new things and reading magical realism/fantasy.
