Program Officer, Asia

Pallavi believes that she is what she is because of all the women that came before her. As a Program Officer, she is grateful for the opportunity to work with dedicated G.L.O.W partners around the world facilitating young girls have safe spaces to be themselves, be heard and recognize the limitless potential they possess. She hopes for a future for girls where they dare to dream and go all out for achieving them with self-awareness, social awareness and responsible decision-making skills they learn and practice with our programs.

She holds a MA in Gender Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from University of Delhi. With her interdisciplinary background she recognized the importance of critical thinking and built a unique perspective to explore the social, political and cultural constructions of gender and how it shapes one’s own life and lives of others. Before working at Global G.L.O.W, Pallavi has zealously worked in the spaces of Alternative Education-Social Emotional Learning and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. In her free time, Pallavi enjoys the art of ghazal and is an avid admirer of folk music who is often attempting to play and learn new chords on her Ukulele. She also loves to travel to the hills and be in nature, cook and eat good food and pet furry babies.
