
Mamta Jain Valderrama
Mamta Jain Valderrama is a global operations and transformation leader who is dedicated to speaking up for marginalized and underrepresented people. A daughter of immigrants from India, Mamta has traveled globally to advocate for women’s empowerment, workers rights, and animal welfare.
As a healthcare leader, Mamta has led projects to improve access to basic healthcare services for uninsured and underinsured people. She has led engagements in healthcare, tech, nonprofits, and publishing.
She is the author of an Amazon bestselling novel, A Girl In Traffick, which sheds light on the horrors of human kidney trafficking and the black market for human organs. Most recently, she served as the global leader of operations at Mercy For Animals, an animal rights nonprofit whose mission is to end factory farming of animals.
Mamta is committed to fostering positive change and social impact in both her professional work as well as her hobbies. Mamta hosts chocolate tastings as a vehicle to educate about unethical labor practices associated with cocoa harvesting, and advocating for consumers to make more ethical buying decisions. She is recognized for her leadership skills, having led teams of up to 25 people dispersed globally and fostering culturally sensitive and inclusive teams.
