Robyn Riseberg, MD
Dr. Robyn Riseberg is a long-standing pediatrician who has devoted her career to serving families with low-income throughout Greater Boston. She is passionate about her commitment to improving children’s health and providing the highest-quality care for our community’s most vulnerable patients.
Dr. Riseberg’s firm belief in equity in healthcare led her to create Boston Community Pediatrics (BCP), the first nonprofit pediatric private practice in Massachusetts. BCP provides specialized pediatric care, integrated mental health services, and care navigation support to address the social determinants of health, in order to focus on the child’s well-being regardless of their financial situation or insurance coverage.
Prior to her founding of BCP Dr. Riseberg was the head of pediatrics at the South End Community Health Center (SECHC) and the Founding Medical Director of the School-Based Health Center at the Blackstone Elementary School at the Dr. Gerald Hass Center in the South End.
Dr. Riseberg is a graduate of the UMass Medical School, where she was an Albert Schweitzer fellow, and earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan. Dr. Riseberg has received numerous awards including the Extraordinary Women Advancing Healthcare award given by The Women’s Edge’s (formerly The Commonwealth Institute) for her outstanding career achievements and impact.
