My Experience In New York by Leslie Luna

Hello, my name is Lesley Luna and I’m going to talk about my amazing experience in New York.

At New York the Global G.L.O.W. program gathered girls from different states and countries for the story summit. The event took place at Le Parker Meridian and some of my favorite things we did were singing in a circle, writing activities, making masterpieces together, yoga, and exploring. I also gave a speech about me interacting with other girls and I got to hear a little bit about their lives. I am still in contact with some other girls through social media. Not only did we do these amazing things but we also visited the statue of Liberty, went to an aquarium, and observed art in a museum of ancient art. I really enjoyed this wonderful experience, but it wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for my friends at the Glow house, who gave me the opportunity to join this amazing trip.
