Serena Smulansky

Serena is a recently retired finance attorney with over 20 years of experience in the finance sectors of Houston, New York and London. Serena has always championed mentoring and equality in the workplace for young women. She has spoken and moderated numerous panels on the subject and has actively engaged with leaders within the legal and financial ecosystems to promote equal opportunities and equal pay for women.

As a Global Girls Glow Board Member, Serena draws on both her professional legal experience, her copious training and volunteer work with women’s organizations and her early experiences in Sub-Saharan Africa and Mexico. She has now turned her attention and efforts to supporting girls’ involvement in GLOW and she looks forward to a day when girls worldwide understand and can tap into their power and agency.
