Lamoussa Tapsoba

As the Event Coordinator, Lamoussa brings Global Girls Glow supporters closer to the movement by helping to create meaningful experiences that deepen understanding of the organization’s impact and inspire continued engagement with girls’ empowerment worldwide.

Lamoussa brings experience in program coordination, event logistics, and stakeholder engagement from their work with Teaching for Change and the National Low-Income Housing Coalition. Having lived and volunteered in Ethiopia and Ghana, she is passionate about creating inclusive spaces that center community voices and drive collective action. Lamoussa graduated from Georgetown University with a double major in French and Francophone Studies and Justice and Peace Studies.

The women Lamoussa admires most are the educators, organizers, and community leaders she’s worked alongside. Women who show up every day to create the world they want to see.

When they are not planning events, Lamoussa loves rock climbing, reading books, discovering national parks, and volunteering in the D.C. area.
