Senior Program Coordinator

Olivia works as a Senior Program Coordinator, maintaining relationships with community partners in the U.S., Southeast Asia, and Western and Southern Africa, developing trainings, writing curriculum, and supporting advocacy work. Ensuring as many girls as possible get the support they need to come into their own power drives Olivia in her work.

Olivia received her bachelor’s degree from UCSB in French with a minor in Sociocultural Linguistics and her master’s from SDSU in Women’s Studies. For over 5 years Olivia has been working with youth in different capacities, from providing volunteer opportunities to facilitating discussions about race to teaching professional development skills. Olivia loves seeing youth advocating for themselves and others, whether that’s on a personal or international level.

For Olivia, it has been a great honor to work with such amazing women as partners and as colleagues- she feels she learns so much from them all. Being doubly lucky, Olivia also has remarkable women in her personal life. Olivia credits her mother in particular for having encouraged her to work hard, ask questions, look for truth, and seek justice for people around her.

Olivia’s other passions include being a professional Craft Dabbler, baking, volunteering, thrift shopping, and traveling. She also enjoys hosting trivia!
